whywerun is not a race, it’s a movement.
a five-day, 250km journey where personal endurance meets shared purpose.
you’ll push your body beyond what you thought possible. you’ll confront and overcome mental barriers. and through it all, you’ll be surrounded by an extraordinary community of people running not just for themselves, but for each other.
through wild landscapes, long days, and moments of raw emotion, you’ll be reminded: we are stronger when we move together. when we run with purpose, we can go further than we ever imagined.
out here, you don’t run for time or a place. you run for something bigger: to change lives, including your own.
together, we raise vital funds for bigmoose, a charity transforming mental health support through fast and effective therapy.
your support will provide a lifeline for someone struggling, allowing them to access support without any barriers.
bigmoose’s goals are to help people with their mental health and prevent suicides.
our strategy for achieving these goals is by providing therapy to people who need it. people need help, and they need it quickly.
we reply to everyone within 24 hours, and you are seen by a therapist within a week. every client is treated as an individual and we refer them to the best suited therapist based on their needs, and our therapists’ specialities. on average people are only needing 4 sessions of therapy.
