as the pretty young girl, petite in size, shimmering silver hair, elfin features, emerged from behind the curtain, wearing the dress, i thought i had fallen asleep whilst reading cinderella to betty and otto, and she had come to visit me in a dream.
but this was a dream, but not the sleeping kind.
“this is the one” the princess spoke.
“oh my chloe” we all exalted.
i had been invited to help chloe choose her wedding dress.
an unusual occurrence the shop proprietor told us in no uncertain terms.
and as i wondered at her beauty she turned around, the frock following her, seconds after.
the couture and its muse were beautiful independently, but married together they were perfect.
“that’s the one” we all cooed.
our work here was done.
my relationship with my girls has always been special, and they have brought me so much happiness throughout their lives, and tomorrow i get to live my dream again, as i walk my friend down the aisle.
the weather is going to be sunny.
betty and otto will walk down the aisle first.
and my youngest baby will marry crawford, the man who donated a kidney to allow her to live, such is his love.
i’m excited.
