i am writing this weeks blog sitting in calgary airport, waiting to catch my flight back to heathrow.
i am returning from victoria in british columbia, where i attended my course in body language with mark bowden, the number one proponent of this discipline in the world.
i learnt an amazing amount, and i can’t wait to use my new skillset when i book my next talk, hint hint.
i nearly booked one in victoria, so watch this space.
my week has been phenomenal away from the course, and chloe and i have a meeting tomorrow, which has the potential to be the next chapter in our growth, wish us luck.
i also had an online meeting with the amazing alison lapper, the artist with no arms or legs, who asked me what my course was about, and when i gingerly danced around the subject matter, she proceeded to rinse me, with her p.a. sally who was also on the call, they literally wound me up like a top, and i felt like a mouse with two big housecats patting me backwards and forwards.
i loved it, their energy was infectious, and i am now dreaming up an event where alison can speak, she is so much fun.
she is coming up visit us in july, and i can’t wait for our team to meet her.
one of the other exciting things that happened this week, was that i recently bought an inexpensive print from a gallery in mayfair, i hope tania’s not reading this, and the gallery founder has been on my radar to approach.
low and behold he called me.
in a great show of customer service.
39 minutes later he invited me to the gallery, and to go for a drink to see how he can help bigmoose art4good, wild i tell ya.
anyway, my flight is boarding, and i’ve gotta go.
so, inspired by ali, yes i’m allowed to call her ali.
we’ve got one life, we’ve gotta really live it.
stay strong baby.
till next week,
blue skies,
jeff
