    how many people can go on a course?

    the course capacity is 16 people for suicide first aid and 14 people for mental health first aid.

    why should i do these courses?

    our suicide first aid course has been described as the “gold standard in suicide prevention training” and has been accredited by the royal society of public health. we have partnered with the national centre for suicide prevention education and training (ncspet) to deliver this training, who are the uk’s leading international provider in suicide prevention education so you will be learning from a trusted source.

    our mental health first aid course has been developed by mhfa wales, who hold the exclusive license for mental health first aid training in wales. the course is both evidence-based and trauma-informed.

    are these courses good for businesses?

    these courses are ideal for businesses, especially managers, hr teams, wellbeing champions and anyone who wants to play a more active role in protecting mental health in the workplace.

    this is not about turning people into therapists, it’s about making sure your organisation has people who are prepared to listen, support and signpost when it really matters.

    what are the timings of the course?

    sucide first aid is a one-day course which will run from approximately 9:30am – 4:30pm.

    mental health first aid is a 12 hour blended learning course, combining online module learning with two instructor-led sessions (approximately three hours each).

    who is this training for?

    no previous training or experience is needed. these courses is suitable for any organisation that wants to better support the wellbeing of those around them.

    in a workplace, this is particularly beneficial for line managers, team leaders, hr and people teams.

    we know that the subject of mental health and suicide can feel heavy. our courses are trauma-informed and you will be fully supported throughout the day.
