chloe and i had a dream.
to build a mental health charity that anyone could access.
that would help and save lives.
so far we have helped 5245 people.
we have also stopped 123 people from killing themselves.
in 2022 we had a dream to raise one million pounds in a year, and project 1 million was born.
in 486 days we raised 1.16 million.
but our work doesn’t stop.
this year we decided to dream big again, same goal, raise a million, project 1 million 2.0.
only a different timeframe.
24 hours.
the concept?
100 spin bikes.
teams of riders.
riding collectively for 24 hours.
each bike fundraising £10k.
100 x £10k = £1 million.
simple.
the problem?
with less than two weeks till the event we have only got 75 bikes with people raising £10k.
so we have looked at the options.
1. cancel the event.
2. hold the event with 100 bikes, and only 75 with riders.
3. ask for help.
we’ve opted to be completely transparent and chosen 3.
we need the help of some angels to ride our (currently) empty ‘angel’ bikes.
